So it's impossible to be a Weezer fan, you have to either like their old stuff or their new stuff? Tell me, 'cause I'm on the outside looking in.
"Hash Pipe" would probably technically qualify as "old stuff," honestly.
I loved the first two albums and thought there were some okay things on the third. But mostly, they so majorly lost the plot after "Pinkerton" that I'd suspect most people's lists will end up looking like mine and Chud's.
See, I prefer their more recent singles to some of the Pinkerton deep cuts you guys are mentioning. The highly compressed saccharine sound really suits them.
01 My Name Is Jonas 02 Jaime 03 The World Has Turned And Left Me Here 04 Buddy Holly 05 Undone - The Sweater Song 06 Say It Ain't So 07 Tired Of Sex 08 El Sorcho 09 Hash Pipe 10 Island In The Sun
I like a lot of their songs that come after this period just not as much. I could easily come up with a 20+ song best of for them....

If I came up with a top 10 black sabbath list, and didn't include songs from Sabbath Bloody Sabbath up to Forbidden, would I be sassed and called a hipster?

The Good Life Smile (tragically underrated; I love love love this song) My Name is Jonas Death and Destruction El Scorcho Simple Pages The World Has Turned and Left Me Here Falling For You Peace (even though the lyrics are horrible) December
I haven't listened to any of the last 3 Weezer albums in full, that's why they're not included in this list.

I used to be a big Weezer fan but over the last decade I haven't enjoyed the albums as much as the early ones. The last one, Hurley, was pretty good, but Make Believe was rather weak, The Red Album was dreadful, and I couldn't even bother to listen to Raditude.
With a little thought in no particular order I'd say
