The JD avatar suddenly takes a whole new meaning.

The person I can most relate to is JD from Scrubs. We have a lot of the same qualities. He's nerdy, quirky, funny, and an all around nice guy. But deep down you can sense that he is lonely and is looking for someone.

Really neat idea, Jim! It's cool how you relate to JD. I can probably think of a few on the spot who I relate to...

My friend actually told me a couple of weeks ago that I'm like Mary Tyler Moore from her show - I've got spunk, and he hates spunk. She has a lot of character and is very content being a woman. I think Mary Tyler Moore herself is just like her character on the show, except in different circumstances. I'm that same way to the character.


I think I'm a little bit of all four of the women of Sex and the City. Overall, I'm probably mostly Charlotte (Kristin Davis), when I really want to be Samantha (Kim Cattrall). I'm not all Charlotte though, because although we're both hopelessly romantic, she thinks that every woman needs a man to complete her, and I don't feel that way at all. In that way, I'm Miranda (Cynthia Nixon), the independent one who can't say "I love you," because, "I am so - fucked up!" And Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is looking for an extraordinary love affair and can't find it - that's like me as well. I would like a Cary Grant to my Deborah Kerr.

I'd really like to be a one-night stander though...

I watch that show too much.


I have a really good friend who says I'm Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) in Pulp Fiction. I'm not actually a bad-ass motherfucker, but I'm strong-minded and a really intense person. It doesn't seem to fit that Jules believed in divine intervention while he was carrying a wallet that said "Bad Motherfucker" on it and shooting his boss' business partners... I guess she doesn't think I would be a comfortably spiritual person because I'm such a madman... Or woman. Hehe. I think when it comes down to it, Jules and I were born philosophers and we have a realistic approach to divinity. We're not fundamentalists, we're not even really religious, but we're spiritual. Jules knew that he witnessed divine intervention - he didn't think so, he knew. I think we both take a lot of meaning from our experiences.


I'm definitely Juror #8 from Twelve Angry Men. He was really the main character because all of the jurors were going to find the kid on trial guilty straight away without discussion, and he made them discuss it. He was considerate and bright, how I try to act.


I'm a lot of Bridget Jones. I can be very clumsy and ridiculous - I'm strong of mind but I embarrass myself very often in front of people. And I am also an appallingly bad public speaker.


I'm the Green Grasshopper from James and the Giant Peach - I have delectable tastes in fine wines and appreciate the arts. Okay, there was never a moment where Old Green Grasshopper was said to have delectable tastes in wine, but I get the idea he would. Mentally, we're both about seventy-five years old.


From A League of Their Own, I related to Dottie (Geena Davis) most. I used to play softball and I was always catcher before my knees started acting up, and I was a team player and I was pretty good at the game. And I never got too pissed off about a bad call or anything, because it really is only a game.


I really related to the mother in A Christmas Story. She was a dowdy housewife who didn't speak up always when she should have, didn't stand up for herself, and was very patient with her kiddos for all that they did. I discipline James, but I'm still a softy sometimes, as she was.


Lisa Simpson. We play the sax (Although I play alto and I think hers is a tenor), we're crazy pro-animals and pro-environment, and we're nerds.


I'm enjoying this too much, ahahahaha! That's enough for now, but those are a few that I thought of that I relate to well. All for different reasons, different parts of my personality, I guess. That was fun, hehehe.

I have to say another because it just popped in my head! My sister and I used to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I was always Leonardo and Michelangelo. The former was the leader, the latter was insane.

I would pick JD also. Actually kind of a combo between Braff's character in Scrubs and his character in Garden State, without the medication. Maybe a little of Jasone Batemans character from Arrested Development thrown in for god measure.

yeah, I agree with the part about Braff's character from Garden State. Same here, I can totally relate to him.

Thats why i think so many people liked that movie. I know for me the main reason i liked it so much was because it was very true to life for the most part. Very easy to relate to.
