Woah.

Quote:
J Mascis rounds up a couple partners-in-crime from his adolescence with an eye – and ear – towards shredding harder, wailing louder, and generally melting faces even more brutally than ever before. Stoner dirtbags cloaked in mystery, j’s longtime buddies Pete Cougar and Johnny Pancake lay down the heavy rhythm base for j’s massive licks and blistering guitar mastery. Ever wondered what Band of Gypsies would sound like if you mixed it up with Japanese hard psych and smoked it through a giant power bong? Well, now you know. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Indeed.

This sounds like it could be good.

shred-filled-vocal-less psych album

Could be fun and the samples were cool. The bass gave me a Sabbath vibe. No Telling No Trails is already my favorite.

I just got an email about J and Murph playing with Watt this May.

Don't think I can miss that one.

I saw J play with Watt and latter-day-now-mid-period-or-is-it-oh-I-just-don't-know Dino Jr drummer George Berz at the Adelaide UniBar about a decade or more ago - it was pretty awesome.

I think J was touring the first Fog album at the time.

The non-stop shredding has worn me down to a nub.

I used the mystical powers of google.com.

The record is fun but only in small doses.

Ya, could you imagine seeing this shit on tour? I don't know if I could handle it.
