Tim burton seems to be doing his movies in auto pilot recently...i don´t see any hint that with this one won´t be that way. Maybe his new stop motion movie will be the first good one from him since...big fish maybe?

What's the story there?
It looks like it could be a movie kind of in league with something like Sleepy Hollow where its dark and creepy, but with humorous gags all throughout.

I'll still watch a Johnny Depp movie. Once Upon A Time in Mexico was on TV and I love that one. His slimy CIA character is one of my favorites he's ever done. He's hilarious. Sleepy Hollow's also good, and I'm interested in the Lone Ranger thing he's doing. Whether or not Tim Burton can still make a great film would probably draw an interesting debate, but I'll see this.
Johnny Depp as a funny vampire and a blonde Eva Green? Come on, no question.

I watched The Rum Diary and I really enjoyed it. Just forget it's based on the book and you'll be alright. Otherwise you will just enrage yourself for no good reason at all.

So, Beetlejuice 2?

Actually the writer from this movie is working in a beetlejuice sequel.

I'd be way more interested in a prequel.
Sequel, prequel. Either way, Michael Keaton's excited and already on board.

I just can't bring myself to be excited about a Tim Burton movie anymore.
Probably because you pretty much always know what to expect. Big Fish was a nice surprise, but its been 6 years since that. Everything else is classic Burton, and while this kind of looks like a cross between Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, I'll see it just because Eva Green's in it. Wow.
