Yes. This is part of the reason why I love Football so much. I've been watching this rivalry since I was a little kid.
Go Vikings.

Packers/Vikings Broncos/Raiders Broncos/Chiefs Chiefs/Raiders Cowboys/Redskins Steelers/Browns Browns/Ravens (Art Modell connection)
How about Jets-Dolphins?
And there should be at least one or two more from the NFC East.

I cannot believe this wasnt on the list?! About a million times bigger than Vikings-Packers. I dont care if the Bears have sucked the past 10 years. It is still alot bigger.

I dunno, the Bears and Packers haven't been good at the same time for a long time, and the majority of Packers and Vikings fans I've talked to say that Packers/Vikings is the big dog these days.
If we're talking in sheer historical terms, then of course Packers/Bears makes the list.
yup....that was THE rivalry in the NFL in the early to mid-90's.
Giants-49ers was big for a while as well.

Yeah, the Packers/Bears rivalry has pretty much boiled down to Packers fans merely being embarrassed on the rare occasion when the Bears win. But Lovie Smith did say that beating the Packers was one of his biggest team goals last season. So maybe it's a bigger deal for Bears' fans. Either way, the Packers/Vikings rivalry is definitely bigger.

There are a bunch of short but intense rivalries that occured at certain times. In addition to the aforementioned 49ers/Cowboys, don't forget Steelers/Raiders of the 70s.

Eagles/Cowboys has always been pretty intense since the 70's. People in Philly absolutely despise the Cowboys. It's the one team I root against every week, on Sundays it's root for the eagles and whoever is playing the cowboys.

I hate the niners so much and always will because of those 80's and 90's teams... those sons of bitches kept us from winning 4 super bowls in a row... if Steve Young, Charles Haley, Terrell Owens (he went from my #2 most hated team to my #3 most hated team... awesome), Dwight Clark and Ricky Watters were in a cage fight and killed each other I'd be a happy man

I think it's definately a bigger deal for Bears fans. Packer fans are more into beating the Vikings. I think it just boils down to which teams are competing for division titles each year and the Bears haven't been in the mix much over the past dozen years. I'm sure when the pendulum swings then it will be a bigger deal to Packer's fans when the Bears are winning every time they play.

what's even worse is that SF cheated by committing several salary cap violations.
