i watched the special prosecutor's press conference. it was awful. all politics. she thanked a dozen people from the start like she was accepting an oscar.

I'm far from an expert on these things, so this is pure speculation:
But, murder 2 might be very tough to convict on, but we'll see what evidence is out there. I'm sure the intense public pressure got this murder charge. But, it seems more like a manslaughter case with a slew of underlying convictable crimes commited by Zimmerman. I think those underlying ones will ultimately be the ones he's found guilty of. Just an early hunch.

I kind of agree with the sentiment that a conviction will be hard to come by and that these charges are just an aim to quell all of the public outrage over the last couple of months. It kind of feels like if he isn't convicted on a murder charge or at the very least manslaughter, lots of places are going to go up in smoke.
