Mayweather was sentenced to 6 months in jail (3 months suspended), he must serve 3 months starting 1/6/12. So obviously a fight with Pacquiao isn't happening in May.
Freddie Roach says that Manny and Bob Arum could decide within the next 48 hours if they will fight Mayweather. Roach wants the fight, but he says that Arum and Manny make the decisions on fights. Roach says the fight would be at 147lbs. I don't think it's going to happen, Arum for whatever reason doesn't want to make this fight. I hope they fight because the rumored match ups for them if they don't fight (Manny vs. Peterson, Floyd vs. Guerrero) are pretty shitty.
It's stupid. It's all smoke and mirrors. When this started...it seemed like Mayweather didnt want the fight...now it seems like Pac doesnt want it. I dont know anymore and I'm starting not to care...almost to the point that I might not even watch it if it ever happens.
This bullshit is stealing all the attention from some of the good up and coming fighters.

Teddy Atlas is adamant that Arum just doesn't want to have to put up the $100m+ for it to happen. ESPN reported today that Floyd called Manny last night, didn't say what they talked about. Floyd said he's open to fighting Martinez at 150.
Awful, what a shitty fight. There's a dozen guys I'd rather see fight Mayweather.
Really? I can only think of Martinez.
Unless something turns out very wrong, Floyd will beat Cotto, but Cotto has a chance of making Floyd uncomfortable in there if he trains well and adopts a good strategy, i.e., if he comes in as a bully and makes it a rough fight in the inside.
I couldn't care less about Pac-Bradley. I don't see anything special in Bradley, he's decent but that's it. Khan is more fun to watch. You just know he's going to gas out and allow for some drama.
If Pac doesn't beat Bradley convincingly it would mean his best days are definitely over.
There's no point in Floyd-Pac even getting made at this point. It would be a boring fight. Floyd by wide decision.
Mayweather just said that if he and Pacquiao fight there is no way Manny is getting a 50/50 split of the money.
He wouldn't give Manny PPV money either. Supposedly, Manny offered 45-45 with winner getting the other 10 and Floyd refused. It's about the last thing Floyd can use to keep ducking Manny. It'd be great if Cotto was able to KO Floyd, but that's not going to happen.
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. And Manny Pacquiao Urged To Put Aside Differences And Fight
LAS VEGAS—Despite pleas from their managers, handlers, and fans, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are too consumed with anger toward each other to engage in fighting, sources close to the two boxers confirmed Thursday. "We've done all we can, but the animosity between these two men is too bitter to allow them to trade punches," said Mayweather adviser Leonard Ellerbe, who has repeatedly entreated Pacquiao to "set aside whatever personal animosity he bears Mayweather and do his level best to knock him out," but to little avail. "Unfortunately, their reciprocated feelings of hatred seem to be too great, and to run too deep, to ever subside into physical violence." Both Pacquiao and Mayweather are said to be considering offers to batter much closer friends of theirs into unconsciousness.

I was at Palms last night in high limit gambling area (not gambling). I was only person there, literally. I was waiting on my host to get me something. All of a sudden 15 black guys come in to the area and spread out like secret service. I notice they all had mayweather t-shirts on. Sure enough, Floyd sits down at the BJ table and starts gambling. I wanted to take a picture but figured they'd kill me instantly. About five minutes into the gambling, he mumbles to the pit boss "don't let him come near me". I respond and say "good luck next week, champ!" lol. His fight is May 5. His yes man sitting next to him looked at him and they both kind of laughed and then ignored me.
