Tell me why though. Their numbers are nearly identical and they're both on winning teams, so will have plenty of save opportunities.
The Twins believe it or not, having a strong pen than the Yankees... he has a better supporting cast around him, and he had a great year last year... go Nathan... he might have blown it in the playoffs last year, but hey, it ain't the playoffs yet
I will agree that the Twins have a stronger bullpen overall, but the Angels also have Shields and Donnelly, that ain't too shabby.
Don't get me wrong, the Angels bullpen is good, but guys like Romero, Rincon and Mays make up one of the top 'pens in the league... and don't forget about that starting staff either... closing for Santana is like beating up Mormons... it's waaaay too easy

If strikeouts matter, KRod destroys Nathan. Nathan had 89 in 72 innings in 2004, Krod had 123 in 83 innings.
KRod kills him, it's no contest statistically. His K/BB ratio is twice as high, he gets 5 more K's per 9 lifetime..this is an easy one.
when guys are close in valuce, it's not about who's better, it's who can fetch more in a trade. Put out feelers and see what people are willing to give up.

is it rotisserrie or head to head. if its head to head, and you dont have a large K producing starting lineup, stick with k-rod. if you have people who get tons of strikeouts everygame, keep nathan. if rotisserie flip a coin over who u keep

I decided to keep both. I also have Brazoban, who's going to go back to the 8th inning once Gagne comes back, so he'll get me holds. Maybe I can therefore dominate the saves category eventually. Somehow right now, I have the 2nd highest ERA and WHIP in the league. Here's my complete pitching staff:
Starters - Jake Peavy, Rich Harden, Dontrelle Willis, Brett Myers, Jason Marquis, John Patterson
Relievers - Brad Lidge, Francisco Rodriguez, Joe Nathan, Yhency Brazoban
I think the reason those stats are high is that my staff used to include (at various times) Oliver Perez, Greg Maddux, Noah Lowry, Jaret Wright, Mike Gonzales, and Denny Bautista
The funny thing is I picked K-Rod up off of waivers. I shit you not - the guy who dropped him is a friend of mine and apparently decided that Dustin Hermanson was a better value because he gets holds and saves and can be put in a SP slot (4 in my league). I can understand that, except that he also has Eddie Guardado (and Jeff Weaver for that matter). His brother (also in the league) and I razzed him about that one for days! I wasn't sure I'd get him, because there was another guy ahead of me in waiver priority that is paying attention and needs a closer bad.
