any fans out there? this band is awesome - steve albini's guitars sound crazy. go to transmission 3000 for some free live mp3's. also if anyone has an mp3 of wingwalker it would be apprciated.

I have At Action Park...good stuff. They're about as stripped-down & scaled-back as rock music gets.

Holy fucking shieeaaaatt!! Shellac is great. My band got to play a show with them and Shiner this past fall at a VFW hall. I think i started a Shellac thread a million years ago that went unanswered.

Their first three 7" singles and At Action Park are essential, everything after hasn't grabbed me too much though.

The opening track from Terraform is great though, Didn't We Deserve A Look At You The Way You Really Are? (I may've got that slightly wrong...)

This is pretty cool, an alternate version of Copper from the Lounge Ax compilation.

This is pretty cool, Todd Trainer's other project.
Quote:
Steve Albini described Brick Layer Cake as "think Nick Drake on downers fronting Black Sabbath, if Black Sabbath played only the good parts of their songs". That's a terrible description as there are no "bad" parts of any Black Sabbath songs, and is obviously some sort of trickery on the part of Mr. Albini.
