My dad loved this song, growing up. I've got no bones about it...it's about the most generic "let's greyscale the video" kind of adult pop. Like late era Billy Joel. Nonthreatening....mostly serves as something to fill up the empty auditory space at furniture stores, these days.
the issue here is ultimately related to the thematic quality of the pizza. No matter how many studies seek to intimate the impact of other flavors on the basic design premise (Papa & Johns, 2008; Caesar, 2012), the determining influence is found in the question "what message does the pizza wish to send us?" We may be cognizant, or even appreciative, of alternate flavors...but we cannot remain human and still accept fucking fruit on our goddamn pizza.

I was in a local bar recently and some redneck biker (accidentally?) played the CHER version of "Walking In Memphis", follwed by "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi. I had to get the fuck out of there.
