Aaaah, the big urban myth that Giggs could have been an England player. Sorry, but that is wrong. Look it up.

The reality is that our Ryan was born in Wales of Welsh parentage and has absolutely no English blood.
So the option was never there…even though he did qualify for England Schools courtesy of being educated in Manchester.
There is however one other country he could have represented … Sierra Leone. His grandfather is from there.
I thought that it's actually irrelevant i.e. Had he gone through the England schools route eventually he could have played for England nonetheless. The twat doesn't even have a Welsh accent.

Not a bad weekend for us if you look at the table and the fact it was Chelsea but next game...fucking Stoke away.

I've come to the realisation in the last week that football is a false economy because as long as football has the tv money, it's alright. It will get to a point when the tv channels pay teams to not sell any tickets, including lower league games which are not on telly. It will get to the point where the tv channels will pay pubs etc not to show games as well.

I like how the teams lower down in the division, such as Liverpool, can beat the higher ranked teams, such as Everton, in a one off matches but across the course of the season. I guess it is like a cup final to them.

City has to feel good about the position they are in with the home game coming up, but we'll see if they have what it takes to get the job done. I dislike both teams, but i'd prefer the status quo of a Manure title over City buying one...

I have the same problem. I should plump for United. I don't feel any rivalry with anyone but Spurs anymore, and City are a circus like Chelsea. The rivalry I felt with United was a long time ago, so that shouldn't be a factor but that's all I've got. I hated Liverpool for a bit when we were competing for 3rd every season but that was after the move, when it felt like if we got into the top 3 we could press on from there. But last season with being pipped by City, well it just all feels meaningless these days. Having said that, I prefer Liverpool over City so why not United as well? Probably cause of the whole Glazer/PLC thing but then Liverpool got bought out in 2007. I guess maybe in the old days, manu done enough for it to count now, and Liverpool didn't? Ah well, it won't be Chelsea or Tottenham, that's what matters. I'm still smiling over the 5-1 though.

Chelsea has some players that are hard to root for but it would be nice for England to get a little respect since all you hear about is how the two Spanish clubs are all there is...
