I ask because I care.

And because I need some legal advice.

im not sure if the thread brought me more laughs or it was created by a guy who openly mocked people for their religious beliefs yet thought the cards provided some divine guidence

People with religious beliefs always mock other people's religious beliefs, because religious beliefs are by definition stupid. We are all lesser for having had them. The only word that should follow the big "r" word is "questions," after all.

But, really, what really happened to PD was that he failed to appreciate that the internet is never, ever made for earnestness. Most people will die before they tell you the truth in this place, because they know that those are the rules they have to play by in order to play at all.

I did mean to include the belief that life is a biological event with an absolute ending among the list of religious beliefs, yes. And it is my belief, and it does make me stupid...but not quite enough to recognize that I would never do to anybody what people do to each other on the internet.

Now wash your hands, and don't ask me to apologize. Although I am very, very sorry.

well yes, that's obviously most of the hilarity. without that it's just another person who believes in fairy tales and what's so special about that? the majority of humans fit that description.

Yep. This is why I will never understand people posting their problems all over facebook and the like. What good can come of it?

Attention. I don't think it is wrong of people to do this; just misguided. Sometimes you just want to get shit out there so bad that you look for a response for people to care.
