One of my favourite author / illustrators, a major influence in my artwork and now my poetry. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be an illustrator and writer because of this guy. And because of this guy, I am.

If you wanna have a good cry, there was an interview with him on NPR maybe 6 months ago talking about how all his friends are dead, including his long-time partner who he had to keep secrets for decades. If there's anything like heaven, I hope he's with him again today.
