Atlanta is long overdue for a show (Berlin has had like 8 shows since the last in ATL?), but festivals suck, especially for nostalgia acts.

I know; I much perfer a regular concert but I'll go anyway.

Berlin has had like 8 shows since the last time they hit Boston and New York, let alone Atlanta.

I like how, in all the time they've spent celebrating their 20th anniversary, they've failed to play Seattle. Their hometown.

Fucking posers.

You know, that's pretty fair - it is kind of weird that these guys play so few shows in Seattle.

Well, in 2009, they weren't too happy with the crowds so I can see why they don't. But it makes no sense really.

This band doesn't owe Seattle audiences anything. sure it started there but there are a lon list of other towns in other states and countries that they owe a lot more to.

I can't think of another band of their stature that flat-out shuns their hometown like they do. Can you?

NW audiences are pretty mellow (read lame) but they still should play here more than, you know, once every 3-4 years.

Like I just said in another thread, it's a mistake to assume an audience isn't enjoying the music if they're not howling and going nuts.

What's the "right" way for a crowd to behave, you know?

You just aren't cool enough to get the music on the level they do. Either that or all the caffeine has ruined their adrenal glands and they literally cannot get excited anymore.

I wonder what Dime's crystal ball says about getting real PJ shows in the South in the month of September.
