I'm just giving Generals a first listen now, so it's too early to weigh in properly. I will say that this seems like just the sort of sophomore album that a group that debuted with a warm 70's country/soul album should be making if they want to keep the fans interested. The Florence+The Machine comparison isn't too far off, but I like how these songs are more grounded in reality.

Upon further inspection, "Karma Debt" sounds sort of like a collaboration between Laura Burhenn and scraps that fell from the soundboard of The Downward Spiral. That's a good thing, by the way.
