OK, it's my experience that folk with modern-day Apple computers are really, really dedicated to their machines. I'm guessing it's for one of these reasons; what do ya'll think?
1. Brand loyalty. 2. Snobbery. ("My shit is more expensive than yours, so mine is better.") 3. Apple computers are genuinely better than their PC counterparts.
That's all the reasons I can think of...

Just good marketing on apple's part to make people believe they really need the newest apple product because it is the best. Granted, they can do some cool things better for the artistically inclined, but I doubt the general population would need anything that a Mac could do better than a pc can.
