I know there are millions of Wintersleep fans on here. Well OK, there may not be; but I know a few of you like what you've heard. If you want to stream their new album for the first time, it's happening on their website tonight, 7pm Canada time (I'm assuming you know what that translates to in the US). There's also a Facebook event for it, so you can go to either place. For the UK, that's midnight, but I've got my energy drinks in the fridge and I'm all over it.
The link is here, you can stream two of the songs now:

What's the rest of the new album sound like? I didn't really like the new one you posted first. It seems like they overdid it a bit. I loved a lot of songs from Untitled. Their sound was great then. Jangly guitars and an off kilter voice. Orca was a great song too.
Not sure i'm too taken with their new one.

The new album is fucking fantastic. I just put up a stream which will answer your question. Personally I really like the hugeness of the sound on many of the tracks. I don't know how you can say they overdid it on this and then compliment Welcome to the Night Sky. The sound was pretty much just as epic on that album, wasn't it?

Oh wait, Home? That's not even on Night Sky.
Anyway, I'd say this album is up there with Night Sky and maybe Untitled, just in a different way. I think it's genuine progression where the last album was pretty lackluster.
