How ya'll be storing? I have some big cardboard folders I got from Michaels, but I assume I need some kind of acid free paper between them.

Cardboard attracts and stores moisture. Poster death. Get a decent sized portfolio, some mylar sleeves and store them flat, back to back or individually in a a moisture free, hopefully fireproof environment, not on the floor, so as to avoid curious pests/rodents and not to high so as to avoid wasps who chew up paper in order to make their nests.

agreed with Dime ...
If you want to go a cheaper route, get a BIG pad of acid-free archival drawing paper, and place between each poster (like pre-sliced cheese). put in a portfolio case, preferably one with hard edges/corners.

For a while, i got two LARGE sheets of foamcore and clipped them together with big metal clips. that works too on the cheap / non-long-term storage

I just let the ten club hold on to all mine. They'll do that until I want to pay for them. It's free!

What about this one?

http://www.adorama.com/FLOFAC0145.html

I am moving and I need storage for about 6 months to a year for 20 posters, largest unframed are a DC 2006 and a LA2 2006.

This is probably a terrible portfolio b/c it's cheap, but it'll JUST hold that DC poster.
