So Rick Bucher keeps saying how desperate Ray Allen is to come to the Heat. I doubt that'll happen.

Dwight Howard to the Rockets?

Kevin Durant to the weight room?

One of the ongoing storylines for me will be how much these guys recovering from ACL injuries (Rose, Rubio, Shumpert) play.

Also, the trades in the next few months.

Since it's close to the draft... I think Thomas Robinson will be a much better pro than Anthony Davis. I also like that both players have such normal names.

He should trademark the phrase "look like a jackass" with a picture of his dumb unibrow under it.

I just think Haseem Thabeet whenever I see Davis. I know thats not fair but I can't help it. On ESPN Chad Ford wrote that there were only like...6 players he wouldn't trade for Anthony Davis. I just don't get it.....

Then you're thinking poorly.

Are you of the opinion that this kid is the once a generation talent/no brainer pick that a Tim Duncan was and that Lebron and a very few select others are the only players you would not offer up to get him?

For example, if you were the Bulls, would you consider trading your injury prone ex MVP PG Derrick Rose for this guy? There are so called experts out there that would pull the trigger on that trade.

The Ford quote you were referring to:
Quote:
Big men like Anthony Davis come along once or twice a decade. I think there's only three players in the NBA right now that teams WOULDN'T trade for Davis: LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul. Normally Dwight Howard and Deron Williams would be in that discussion, too, and so would Derrick Rose. But with Howard and Williams threatening to bolt and Rose's injury woes, I think the Magic, Nets and Bulls would all pull the trigger.

What I don't get is why he thinks Deron Williams would be one of the 6 players you would consider keeping. I don't think a guy has ever become more overrated for two straight years based simply on the fact that he demanded a trade out of one place and won't sign a long term deal in his new home so his impending free agency has people all riled up. I mean is there anybody out there who would take Williams over Rondo or Westrbook?

No, it's the fact that he won't be Thabeet part 2.

Thabeet doesn't even belong in the league. Even if Davis only turns into Marcus Camby he'll be worth it.
