I thought I did pretty well for Berlin, so I'm giving this another shot.
So according to Eddie this is their 1000th show. Must be including all their corporate private parties we know nothing about. Anyhow, here's to a good setlist for my friends over there. Wish I was there...
Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town Corduroy Got Some Why Go Amongst The Waves Wishlist Given To Fly Comatose Even Flow Worldwide Suicide Garden Better Things Unthought Known All Those Yesterdays The Fixer Half Full Jeremy ---------------encore break 1 --------------------- Off He Goes Just Breathe State of Love And Trust Do The Evolution Love Reign O'er Me Porch [Eddie plays basketball on stage] ------------- encore break 2 ---------------------- Once Betterman / Save It For Later Crazy Mary Black Alive Rocking in the free world Yellow Ledbetter
(many thanks to em jot & Dimitris from the Pit from where I shamelessly stole the relay)

Be the ones? Have you checked the shows we've had already? I'm 100% sure they'll be terrific shows and all, but "be the ones"? Come on now. They'll be "amongst the ones".

Who fucking cares, though?
I don't understand the competitiveness of Pearl Jam fans - "they like (city/state/country where I am seeing Pearl Jam) better than (city/state/country where you are seeing Pearl Jam)!"
A good setlist is just a bunch of cool song titles, it doesn't reflect how fun a show was to attend in person. Equally, a show that was fun in person can have been a shitty performance from a musical perspective in retrospect, but that doesn't take away from the experience of actually being there.

Fully agreed, Spenno. I've often argued here how you just cannot objectively rate how a person should rank a concert, based on setlist, based on bootleg, even based on both having attended said show. There's so many things which lead you to enjoy one concert more than another. People you're with, place you're standing/seating, your favourite songs you're hearing (I mean, if it's Even Flow, it's Even Flow, I couldn't care less), ... You might not even hear the technical mistakes they're playing because you're too busy having fun.
