Pretty surprised px is posting about a trendy, new-age fad.

Yes, because gluten allergies are caused by wizards casting spells.

"Oh, I can't eat that. I have a gluten allergy." - No one in a developing country, ever.

That's because you have nothing better to do with your time?

What does that say about those actually posting in this thread?

Nope. Mickey's argument is valid until those developing nations start to develop the food allergies we have in the developed world.

Also, huh, weird, not eating gluten and following the Paleo diet trend are not the same thing.

Which I realized this morning during my daily walking meditation, reflecting on the Buddha and stillness and things I can blog about.

I may look like a foodie, but really, I'm just a crass materialist in paradise (paradise!)

I may look like I'm new agey and trendy, but really, I'm just getting older and I'm having digestive problems.

I didn't get real sophisticated with it. I just slapped some prosciutto on the grilled peach and called it good.

I think gluten is the stuff that people with Celiac disease have a hard time with. It's a wheat/ grain derived protein compound they add to processed foods that are usually low in protein.

I'm no expert on this paleo stuff, but several of my friends have lost a lot of weight and look pretty damn fabulous because of it. So I don't know what Mickey is trying to prove to me in this thread.
