I saw them once before. They toured with Bright Eyes on The People's Key tour so I saw them here at the House of Blues. I really want to see them headlining with Generals material though.

Still, with Bright Eyes?!

That must have been pretty rad.

It was awesome. Laura Burhenn was a singer on the last Bright Eyes album so she did double duties that night.

Yeah it's worth listening to. In some ways it's the worst Bright Eyes album but it's still really good.

I prefer the backing vocals in the album cut of Generals when they're burried in the mix. They're a bit cheesy in some of the live versions. But other than that (which I think of every live version of Generals I've heard), that was absolutely fantastic.

Basically because of that call and response part with the hey all my sisters/brothers. It's kind of cheesy.

I'm still waiting for them to post the recent Daytrotter session. That was awesome to hear.

I'm pretty sure it's up to Daytrotter, not them.

I agree with this. Doesn't completely ruin this version though.

I picked up the hand painted 7" of Generals from RSD, it's awesome.

It doesn't come close to ruining any version. Its pretty much my only criticism of this band.
