I've uploaded all of the 2000 bootlegs. I know they're available elsewhere (Gremmie for instance) but they have them all at a bit-rate of 128kbps. These are all at 256kbps and 18 of them are at 320kbps (the ones ripped directly from my own CDs). Happy downloading!

Hey Led, what would you say are your top 5 shows from that tour as a starting point for anyone going in for the first time?

Woah, you haven't heard any 2000 shows?!
I know you didn't ask me, but:
Hamburg West Palm Beach 1 Pittsburgh Detroit Albuquerque
Oh I've downloaded and heard 2000 shows for sure. I've got half a dozen or so cds but I probably haven't listened to any since 2005. Aside from Seattle and a Jones Beach show the rest I own from memory are European shows and they didn't really float my boat from what I can remember.
This is a good starting point though, cheers dude. I don't tend to study tours particularly, it's more like I have a listen to a few shows from the latest tour and then move on y'know.

Thanks for the link, awesome site!
I downloaded Lubbock b/c I didn't have it, and b/c it was on my bday, and b/c I love the cover of Everyday.
So...Lubbock is quite the gem of a show. The energy is amazing! It rivals Detroit, AND, the band is tight. Maybe not as tight as Pittsburg, but they sound pretty darn good.
I realize the Parting Ways is from TB2K, but I had never given it the headphones treatment. This just very well may be the best version of it I've heard.
Another cool thing...Hail Hail coming out of the 1st Encore. When do they ever do that? Granted I don't follow each set-list from each tour, so I really don't know, but from the multiple boots I have, this is a first.
The set-list isn't OMG amazing, but the beginning is fantastic starting with Interstellar Overdrive > Corduroy > Breakerfall > MFC > God's Dice > Dissident > Animal.
Everyday is fanfreakingtastic. I had a crappy copy of it, and I never noticed the shaker thingy m'bober on it. Nice touch. This one needs to be revisited. Buddy Holly is great.
Porch sounds good too. I'm generally not a fan of it from the 2000 tour (I think 2006 to current is better mainly b/c of the jamming), but I like this one.
Lastly, very little chatter, lots of rockin' out. Ed pauses a few times to say hi, or mention that he likes going to an exotic place like Lubbock (NYC or LA isn't exotic to him anymore), or that NAIS is good to listen to in the middle of nowhere, but other than that it's pretty much all music. Honestly, after hearing this show, I'm really surprised they haven't played there since.

I've been downloading from your site since last summer, but never said thank you. So thanks for uploading these and everything else you've had up on your site. Its hard to find high quality mp3's of the shows on the net and you always have the best sounding boots at the highest quality. It's greatly appreciated!

MP3s are not the highest quality by a long shot.
I think we all know the shortcomings of mp3's. But when it comes to a live bootleg, it doesn't bother me. Ledbetterman is sharing the highest quality mp3's of the boots and I appreciate the time and effort it took him to share them.

I'm not knocking what he's done. It's great that they're out there. In my opinion though, live recordings is when I notice the most difference between mp3s and lossless files.

Well you're very welcome LooseGroove. Enjoy the shows. And don't worry about cutuphalfdead. When I saw his name under "last post" on this forum's main page, I actually expected something much, much more negative. But quickly stopping by the thread to point out the obvious that MP3s aren't as good as FLACs? No biggie. He's gotta keep up his 38 post per day average somehow.

You definitely know better than me in that regards. I'm by no means an audiophile. The biggest problem for me is that you can't just drag and drop a flac file into itunes. I listen to the boots at the gym or when running and the mp3's are much more convenient.
On another note, which was the better Boston show from 2000? Both setlists look pretty good.

8/29 was easily the better show.
Yeah, iTunes doesn't have flac support so that sucks.

I just remembered that in 2000, Rolling Stone reviewed all of the European bootlegs. Take the reviews with a grain of salt; the writer describes Do The Evolution as "everything Pearl Jam does wrong....a mess with too many guitars" or something like that. But it's still an interesting read if you're not sure which ones you want to download.
