I'm gonna try to make it to at least one game. With that, I'll try to make it a division game, just not sure which one (most are all stacked up in the back half of the season). You live in DC now right?

I have a friend who is a huge Browns fan, and the Redskins play at Cleveland this year...we may try to go to that one too. I've never been to a hard core cold weather game, and this one is in December. Plus, I'd like to check out the R&R HOF.

As long as that one loss is to Tampa, I can live with that.

So, do we still care about this? I haven't paid attention to anything RGIII since the draft. I know an old teammate tried to extort him or something. Training camp's open. I just heard Rex's gets booed every throw and that whenever he talks to Griffin, the crowd screams for him to get away from their star.

What the shit? They brought in Billy Cundiff and cut Graham Gano. And then fan favorite Chris Cooley's been axed. How 'bout that?

They did a really good job playing to his skillset while still running the Shanahan offense. He looked good throwing those TE routes off play-action. It could just be Nicks being gone and NO's tackles finally getting exposed for how bad they are but the pass rush looked insane as well.

Not looking forward to Dallas playing this team.

So two losses in a row. That's the seventh consecutive home loss for them too, a league record. I had this funny feeling that if they got their offense in check they'd suddenly start to struggle on defense and sure enough, the corners are letting them down.

Its just really hard to watch the NFL with such terrible play calling now. Its like the season's wasted. After the Skins tied it up 24 a piece, the Bengals went one score up, and then on the next drive, the rally was cut short by an obvious interference call on a bomb pass where Leonard Hankerson was grabbed on the arm by one defender and then tripped up by Pacman Jones. No flag. So the Bengals go up two scores, the Skins come within one, and then on the on-side kick the play was called dead and the officials let 30 seconds tick off the clock in the final minutes and never reset them. Its hysterical and pathetic, and almost not worth watching anymore until Ed Hochuli rides back in to the rescue.

The refs are terrible. That Rams game last week was a joke. It was like watching thug ball.

I would have never ever imagined that if the Offense (which has basically sucked for the better part of 20 years) averaged over 30 points per game, that the Redskins would be 1-2. I'm at a loss for how bad this Defense is.

I'm guessing they finish the season at 6-10 or so, then in the offseason really focus on the Secondary and O-Line.

They cannot let him scramble like that. Its week 4. He'll be injured before the season's halfway over at this rate. Scrambling has to be his last option. They only have to look at Vick to see the toll all of those shots are eventually going to take.

And while I'm sad to see Laron Landry go, not satisfactorily replacing him back there is costing the team.

Yeah, it's crazy how little he's passed. I wonder how much of that has to do with Pierre being out? I gotta admit though...although I'm terrified that he gets hurt, it's kinda neat to see a triple option in the NFL.

Still though, I'd like to see more passing with Davis and Hankerson more involved.

Yeah, somebody remind Shanahan that Tebow is built like a Mack truck and ended the season with a punctured lung and a cracked rib trying to run an option offense in the NFL. Or show him Vick's injury history.

A few runs here and there are cool, but I think he rushed around 10 to 15 times on Sunday. Like I'd keep it around 5 or so (not including bootleg type plays where he rolls out and can pass or run), and definitely try to open up the passing game. I'm really hoping Garcon comes back soon. All through camp we heard how him and Griffen really have chemistry; him being out has caused the team to change their plans.

Yeah, the sooner Garcon comes back, the better. But Hankerson was banged up last game and Fred Davis took a few huge shots. Let's hope they're good for the next game.

The option thing is cool, but Griffin's still taking big shots just as he pitches. When he scrambled the last game and dove for the pylon just as he stepped out, he landed awkwardly and it took him a minute to get up and absorb all that pain. They have to protect him. Wasn't the idea to get a mobile quarterback with an arm who could avoid the rush, but have him constantly run for his life upfield where he'd be susceptible to concussions and other injuries? Grossman and Beck couldn't avoid any of that, but Griffin has to be able to scramble and pass, not tuck and run. Hopefully things settle down once Garcon gets back, but he needs open receivers and time in the pocket or its gonna be a long season.

Billy Cundiff saved his job by about one foot. Get rid of him now and avoid the heartache later in the season.

And Haslett has to step up. The defense is slowly falling apart. Is it that hard to have both sides of the ball be good at the same time?

So long, Billy Cundiff. How we hardly knew ye. 4 misses in two weeks? Give him the heave ho.

As for Griffin, lesson learned. Hopefully. He'll break like Vick if he's not careful.

Put Carraker, Orakpo and Sean Taylor back on the team this year and they would be freaking scary good.

Some bad luck here.
