From the reports, Rachel Weisz and Barry Pepper have been cut from the movie. Rachel McAdams and Ben Affleck been significantly cut down. This is not a surprise considering Malick is notorious for cutting or reducing actors roles.
The movie focuses mainly on Olga Kurylenko and Javier Bardem.
It all really doesn't matter, because there is hardly any dialogue. Plenty of Malick voiceovers, but hardly any dialogue between characters.

in defense of weisz and pepper, the hydrothermal tube worms acted the hell out of their portion and deserved a more prominent role in the final cut

I attended the Toronto premiere last night. Terrence Malick's wife introduced the film (Terry wasn't in attendance), and Olga Kurylenko and Rachel McAdams did a brief Q&A afterwards which was quite good (Olga: "Terry would tell me not to speak, to just use my eyes and my body to express a feeling... 'but you gave me 30 pages of dialogue this morning!'").

I'd say the film succeeds in spite of Affleck's performance, but it could have been a whole lot better with a different male lead. I won't say too much, as it's better to form your own opinions, but I was disappointed in his character.
It's very Malick, and reminiscent of the style and pacing of The Tree of Life. If TTOL is a meditation on youth and familial relationships, To The Wonder is a meditation on adult relationships and love (and geography to some extent, with some interesting juxtapositions between Paris and Oklahoma). Most of the voice-overs are in French and subtitled. If you got something out of The Tree of Life, you'll get something out of this one, so definitely see it in the theatre. If you didn't, you're not likely to care much for this one either.

Not entirely correct. Olga is on screen the most, and is the real star of the film, followed by Ben, Javier, then Rachel. Javier's role is significant in tone and plays out as a parallel story, but doesn't get a ton of screen time.
