No hatred, I just think it's a great story. I actually like the Sox, I just don't want them to win because that would take away my main reason for liking them. If they start winning every year they become the yankees.

Who said anything about every year?
Let them have 1 and then if they win next year, hate them then
there you go we already have our yankeesque Patriots but god love it
The Patriots are nothing like the Yankees. The Patriots do not have a payroll that dwarfs most other teams in their league. The Patriots do not make a mockery of their sport. The Patriots are based on concepts of teamwork and chemistry and role players. The Yankees are based on concepts of selfishness and greed. I loathe the Yankees; I respect the Patriots.

That's what I mean. The Sox have a larger payroll than everyone except the yankees, so they wouldn't be all that much different. Anyway, to respons to Chris, perhaps I just like to see the suffering, heh.

My family is from New England, and most of them still live there..and its awesome to see everyone so excited and pumped for the Sox to take the series. Plus the Patriots are just amazing. There is significant less hope for the Celtics which is my favorite sport, but to see the Sox win the World Series is something I've been waiting 23 years for

not to mention Boston College's thrilling 1-point win over Notre Dame. This was a great weekend for Boston sports with 4 big victories back to back to back to back and i thoroughly enjoyed every last second of them
