Do you really not hear the Syd Barrett in there? FWIW, I like their sound. "Ruby Go Home" was probably my personal highlight of a compilation that dyingonahilltop made for the board a few years ago.

Not that huge a fan, but respect them, and always try to go see em. Last time they were in town, about a week or two ago, they played with Total Control (members of Eddy Current Suppression Ring) but I had a landscape architects diner to attend instead. Rats.

I won a copy of Help from WFMU a few years back, but it never really clicked with me.
