I don't know what Ricky expects to accomplish. Oh yeah, big, fat paychecks. Well, more power to him. But he better not get in there with top opposition unless he wants to get knocked out silly for the third time.
Anyway, I'm really pumped about tonight's massacre. Can't wait to see Chávez Jr.'s punk, pink-undies-wearing, arrogant, cuddled, entitled, weight-drained ass get handed to him.
I understand how you feel about Junior...and I agree...but at the same time, for him to be regarded as legit...these are the kinda fights and opponents he should be fighting for him to learn anything of worth.

Pac-Floyd is such a pointless fight now. The weight is going to be the new issue. It should've happened three years ago, now both guys just need to retire.
I think Pac-Marquez IV will be the definitive one. Either Marquez dominates Manny even more convincingly than last time round, or the Pac of old comes back and finally ko's Marquez taking the judges out of the equation.
Actually, if Pac went back to his old self and ko'ed marquez, that would be a reason to make pac-floyd
Monster card tonight. I got Rios by KO and Donaire by close decision. I'd love for Nishioka to win, though.
I was ringside working these fights at Home Depot Ctr. last nite. Brandon Rios is a bad ass. Alvarado was definitely the stronger man and rocked Rios several times with big punches, but Rios stood the course and continued to pound him inside with jabs. When Rios got Alvarado on the ropes in the 7th round, his punches were devastating. In comparison, the Donaire/Nishioka fight was like watching two men square dance. I've worked quite a few fights over the years, and Rios is the only guy I look forward to watch fight. I can't imagine Pacquiao or Mayweather being overly eager to step in the ring with this guy.
Rios did look badass. He must've known he was behind on the cards. He pulled it off based on gigantic balls. Awesome fight. He really impressed me. With Pac and Floyd in decline, he'd make them really uncomfortable if they somehow took that fight.
Nishioka was a huge let down. I didn't expect that crappy performance from him.
