I was certain I would find a thread for this here?

Saw this today. It was great. Not at all what I expected after seeing the trailer.

Yes! He is. I hate to spoil it by saying anything other than it was a great movie.

It's just a great film! And Jorge, Tom Waits was akin to the slice of ginger in my lettuce wrap.

It was very funny, very playful, I really liked it. It was somehow very touching while also completely disregarding and sometimes purposefully offending my delicate sensibilities.

Sam Rockwell's one take scene on how the screenplay should have ended was just the top of the mountain for me.

Sam Rockwell was brilliant.

The addendum with Tom Waits was awesome too.

I enjoyed it, but overall it didn't really cohere for me. I don't know, I just feel like I kept expecting ... something else that never materialized.

Lots of great characters though.

It's at the dollar theater here. Based on Jorge's recommendation, I may go see it there.

Lenny, just for my own self-improvement, may I ask what about Jorge's endorsement of this movie was more compelling than mine or rafa's or lowlight79's?
