Midway through the game when Manning settled down and started just doing his thing again--that was beautiful to see.

Can John Fox somehow trick the players into thinking they're down by 20 when the game starts?

Same with Tony Carter. I'm no longer unhappy that Carter made the team over Syd'Quan Thompson.

That was fun. Now we just need to stop falling in huge early holes.

Woodyard was unreal Sunday night. I'm Interested to see how they work DJ back into the defense (now that they have to) now that Mays is done for the year. This defense has been clicking with the changes in the secondary. Sounds like Tracy Porter has some serious issues to deal with.

And yes, PFM!! He is ba.... *sigh* ...

These are the wins you need (wins we would have definitely blown the last 6-7 years). Starting to get really excited about this team. Win another east time zone road game next week? I'll start to buy into first round bye possibility.

Unfortunately, losing to both the Texans and Patriots will make a first round bye difficult to get. They'd definitely have to win out (which is certainly possible). I guess the Pats have some tough games coming up, but except for Miami they get all of them at home. I just hope they can string 3 straight wins against good teams. The road for the Super Bowl could easily be @NE, @HOU, and vs. ATL--three teams that they all lost to.

Agree, and I am just not sold (yet?) on this team being at the level of any of those three. Could just be pessimism, but it seemed to me that the first half of each of those games was more representative of the reality of the matchup than the Denver comebacks.

Denver should (barring injury) legitimately improve as the season goes on, but I am already cringing a bit at the hype this team is getting. It's just not so hard to look good against New Orleans (at home) and Cincinnati, and most of the rest of our schedule.

The vs. San Diego and @Baltimore matchups are the ones I'm really interested in. Obviously it's the NFL, you can lose any week, especially going to the east coast to play an explosive team like the Panthers, or ... anything else on the schedule. But those two games are the ones to circle, they're the most obviously "big" games and the two best opponents left. Holding home field against SD at home would damn near lock up the division. Going on the road and beating even a depleted Ravens team would also be big. Denver has a horrible history in Baltimore.
