surprised there isn't a thread on this already.

This season has been some of the best sketch comedy I've seen in years, especially the Halloween one. Pretty much only one bad episode.

The college football player name skit and the dubstep skit were great.

I've only seen a few skits, and I don't know if they're consistent with this, but it seems they're good at ending skits on the right note. That's one of my biggest complaints about SNL.

My biggest complaint about SNL is their insistence on reading the cue cards instead of learning their lines. I watched an old SNL with Bruce Willis and everyone was acting in the scenes instead of reading.

K&P is a great show, but yeah there are some misses. I love the Obama interpretator, though the first skit with the Republicans doing the opposite of what he wanted is still the best.

This is alarmingly realistic.

After a certain period of time in highly multicultural schools, you start to assume stupid shit about names.

This is pretty much word for word:

Me: Uh...Dez-uhr-ay?
Her: It's DEE ZIRE.
Me: Uh. Desire? Like, as in...a synonym for...wanting something?
Her: Yeah. Desire. Why?
Me: Just. It's just. Your last name is Valentine.
Her: And?
Me: Your name is really Desire Valentine.
Her: ...
Me: I think it's time for lunch. Everybody line up.
