pink floyd has been my favorite band for almost 20 years (jesus...). i've loved pearl jam for almost as long. comfortably numb is my favorite song ever. i'm not afraid to say seeing that performance just now made me cry.

I thought of you while watching it. I thought it sounded really good. My reaction was a bit different than yours though. I just had a big grin throughout.

yeah, i never thought id see that. i thought he sounded great. he's always more powerful on tv b/c he's not singing a full show. and rodger waters seems like a big fan. big time "holy shit" moment for me.
