A full stream of A Wrenched Virile Lore is up on YouTube. And for the record, I'm digging Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will a lot more now than I did initially.

I don't know why it took me so long to come around on Hardcore... I feel like a douche now.

I :heartbeat: that one. It was on the Mogwai mix I just made for running.

And this fan-made video for it is hilariously bad.

Listening to "Young Team" for about the 2nd or 3rd time. It's pretty interesting and great to work to. This feels like a 'lay in bed' type album...which coincidentally I did with Explosions in the Sky's "The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place" last night and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

I think "Happy Songs for Happy People" is their best, but "Young Team" is without a doubt a "landmark" album.

I think Young Team is the paramount Mogwai album, but Come on Die Young is my personal favourite. A 'lay in bed' album if there ever was one.

I'll look into it...I only have Young Team and Mr. Beast. I dig em. Tried Godspeed You! Black Emperor; I can live without lyrics and even some enjoy records without lyrics but these guys take way too fucking long to get wherever it is they're trying to get.

I get you, it has happened to me before, that why it took me so long to like these guys, i remember listening to some songs and kinda thinking, "ok...soooo when is this thing going to start??"

The Happy Songs-Mr Beast-Hawk Is Howling stretch of albums is incredible.

For your listening pleasure, the oft-overlooked "Travels in Constants" EP from 2001, in sequence. First track is probably my personal favorite Mogwai recording (as I'm sure I've mentioned ten times in this thread already):

The Fountain soundtrack is another must, even if it's off the Mogwai path.
