Journey and Dishonored are the two that really blew me away.

RE6 its a bit fun if you don't take it seriously and if you don't play the canpaing at all.
Mercenaries mode is actually prety fun. If you play it online.

if you're lucky. i think when i finished playing i had logged over 200 hours (according to my save file), and there were plenty of blips on my radar that i hadn't visited yet. and that doesn't include the handful of times i loaded an older save file to redo hours of questing because i fucked something up. by the end though i was just walking around like an immortal warrior god and it got a little boring.

Finally got Dishonored from a friend. Don't think I'll get to it until after Christmas though. Should be a great way to past the time over the break.

I loved Skyrim so much. I played through it when it first came out, mainly just the main story mission and then didn't have a chance to play it after my brother moved and took it with him. I bought it for my PS3 and played through a lot more of the side missions and guilds and loved everything that I missed, especially the Dark Brotherhood quests.

The amount of stuff to do in Skyrim is mind boggling. And just like in Fallout 3 I end up wandering around in the night, stumbling into locations that I'm completely under prepared for.

Did you have any problems with the PS3 version freezing or bugging out? I've heard horror stories so I avoided it.

Not in particular. Only glitch I recall was not being able to buy a house in markarth

If I send you a script of exactly what to say, would you consider recording a special birthday message as Bane for a good friend of mine?

Skyrim is indeed fantastic. I played it (to Platinum) on the PS3 and had a few minor issues. Mostly frame rate stuff, in specific towns, but a game reload seemed to cure that most of the time. I did have one glitch hit me in the Thieve's Guild which prevented me from being able to complete the last mission, but they fixed that. Awesome game all around.

Merry Christmas, gang! What would you guys say is the best XBLA online co-op games? I have Castle Crashers and a few others but I feel like I'm missing a few gems out there. Also what would you say is the best XBLA or just on demand games in general? I'm itching for something new.

Playing through Deadlight. What a brilliant, immersive game.

My 13 year old stepson wanted a Wii U for Christmas. We told him it would be too expensive. Over the last month he told all friends and family (when they asked) that he just wanted gamestop gift cards for Christmas. We weren't paying attention until today when he had me take him to Gamestop. He picked out a WiiU and said 'this is what I came for'. I said 'and how the hell are you going to pay for that?' 'With these'. He proceeded to take 10 gift cards out of his wallet along with another 40 bucks and had enough to buy the system.

Well done, kid.

Hah that is awesome! Way to go kiddo.
What do you think of the system so far, or have you gotten your hands on it yet?
