Yep, that's what they do. I've never had a problem at my house but I've heard of people having shit stolen. Lizzie used to post about New Jersey thugs stealing her packages.
A good work around is have stuff shipped to your work instead of your house.

Well, I sent it to her house because I don't know her work address. Had I known of this boneheaded policy, I'd have inquired further.
I hope it STAYS PUT.

I have things delivered to my house all the time without problems - if your sister lives in a decent neighborhood I'd doubt someone will take it...

She lives in a quiet, safe neighborhood in the Adirondacks. Still, I'm all paranoid. What if a bear steals it?

Hopefully she's up to date on her bear tax.

I had to break into the house next door today. It's all but abandoned, the old lady that lived there having been Put into care last year. There's a burst pipe somewhere in the wall between our houses and it's not ours, but there's huge damp patches and little dribbles of water running down our front and back room walls. I wanted to find the water mains to turn it off. Couldn't find it. Now I've a small window I've broken to deal with. We have no way of contacting the family of the lady. Last year we had to replace 5 roof tiles on her roof cos it was leaking into our house. I'm sorta scared now. Should I leave a note? Or go tell the cops what I've done? I am a concerned neighbor, but it is interfering with our house. Just worried how badly I've crossed a line.

Worked my ass off getting a second draft finished. Phew! Hopefully, now, I can get a reading in the next month. Might be difficult with Mark out of town, but we'll do what we can.

I have a customer on Stanton Island that hasn't received her package from me yet. The last tracking info I have is it's departure from Denver on the 19th of December. It's like I sent it into a USPS black hole or something.
