definitely. just saw it about 3 weeks ago. one of the funniest movies i've ever seen.
horror films always crack me up, even when they're not supposed to be funny, so this movie is an all time favorite :D

Did you build a private movie theater with the lottery money, or do you still go to the regular theater like us poor folk?

or did you use some of your lottery winnings to get married and pay off the mods to so they dont move a movie thread from general discussion to arts and entertainment?

You have to be kidding. This movie freaking kicked ass.

The comedy wasn't overblown and there was actually a little bit of tension. The references (mostly to Romero's first two flicks) were excellent. I loved the touch of adding the hilarious credit music from the first Dawn of the Dead.

The characters were all actually lovable. They weren't generally shallow like normal horror and/or comedy movie characters are.

Good stuff. If I were a reviewer I'd rate it 3 1/2 out of 4 stars.

Saw this for the first time Saturday. LOVED it. I thought it was hysterical, and very well done. It wasn't at all what I had expected, which was even better.
I saw it on a bad bootleg, though. The picture was great, but the sound was off by like a second. Which actually made it a bit more funny. . ..

Whoa there captain. Let's not get all crazy over a flukey British Zombie movie. Now you go put on Army of Darkness and realize the error of your ways.

Hail to the king baby!

I FINALLY saw it, and it absolutely blew me away. I'd heard nothing but good things, I love zombie movies intensely, and I was expecting this movie to kick ass, but not to kick THIS much ass!

It was fucking hilarious, yet it was an awesome zombie film in its own right. And they had some kickass gore. On top of that, it's very well acted and written, and there were even tear-jerking moments! Yeah, amazing, amazing movie. I absolutely love it.

It definitely does the genre justice, one of the few new movies I could watch over and over again. Lots of in-jokes from other zombie movies too. Favorite moment:

"Who put this on?"

"It's on random!"

I just find that so hilarious.

Fans of this movie should be required to watch "Spaced". Same stars, writers and director.

Too bad it's not shown on U.S. television. It's funny as shit.

Yet more proof British television is far superior to American.

Some of my favorite moments...

"The Stone Roses?"
"Uh, no."
"Second Coming?"
"I liked it!"

"...it being caused by rage-infected monkeys has determined to be bull..."

The pair of scenes where he walks to the store are brilliant!

I'm a bit mad at myself because I didn't take the chance to go see it when I was in London in April last year. I only later realized what a hilarious film it is.
