I loved the Sega Saturn. My friends and I still play World Series 2. IMO, the funnest multiplayer baseball game. Guardian Heroes is a blast multiplayer too.

Has anyone ever played Dragon Force? It's the one great Saturn game that I do not own. I was wondering if I should try to pick it up off eBay if I could find it reasonably priced.

i remember i had major league baseball (i think by ea)....it was the first year of the diamondbacks and devil rays, and you can cre4ate rosters for those teams..i made myself our ace pitcher..i had like a ton of strikeouts..i believe if you pitched to a lefty, you throw 2 right over (they take them) and throw the 3rd strike way outside and they swing every time....every lefty was an automatic strkeout....

my friend played an entire season on it with the phills and went 162 - 0 (no resets)

panzeer dragoon was also a cool game, so was the sega rally racing game

i loved mine too. I remember trading in my game gear and all the games that summer/fall it came out (1996 i guess). I think i was planning on getting a virtual boy  but had about $500 in store credit, so i got the saturn that came with virtua fighter and 2 extra games (clockwork knight and a soccer game)

also got daytona and panzer dragoon right away. those were great. didn't get too many new games until the two virtua cop games. lots of fun there too.

i think i got sick of it right around the time when NiGHTS came out, but that always looked cool too.

This thread is fucking class. 8)

My friend had a Sega Saturn and we would stay up all night playing that shit. The aformentioned starter pack was sooooo good, but my favorite Saturn game of all time has got to be PANZER DRAGOON, it was the shit for many long nights.

Ahh, the memories. Before weed and ass dominated my weekends, the Saturn was the game system to end all game systems.

I had its bastard father, the SegaCD. Sewer shark and NHL 94 for were the fucking WIN. Sonic Adventure wasn't too bad either, for wwhat it was worth.

Who else had light guns and lethal enforcers?

You are thinking of World Series Baseball 2. It was out before the Diamondbacks and Devil Rays were in existance. It had those teams in the game and you could make them edit teams. The strikeout trick worked on normal difficulty but not on hard or legendary. IMO, WSB2s Legendary difficulty level is the hardest difficulty level in a sports game ever.

right here. I got lethal enforcers for sega CD with the blue gun, and sent away for the second one. gun games always kicked ass.

sonic cd is still one of the best sonic games they made. most of the other games were crap based around motion video. sewer shark was ridiculously easy.

the only real bastard in the family was the 32x. and i had one of those too. only had 2 games - doom and star wars arcade. doom was fun since i didn't have a PC but SW Arcade was way too hard.

yeah thats it..fun game

i remember in the first world series game, we had a season with the phills (im a yanks fan, but all my roomates were phills fans)..we made it to the playoffs and played the dodgers in gmae 1..we were up 1-0 to the dodgers in the game..it was the 9th and piazza came up with one guy on..i told my buddy he was a pussy if he didnt throw it right over the plate..he did, piazza went yard..my roomate was pissed..we ended up winning in 5 tho

one of the funnies things on that game was that some players had a glitch when their names were announced before batting (at least on my game anyhow)..there would be a loud click noise halfway through the name

some "click" players were j eisenriech, r mondesi, f thomas (ahh..i cant think of them all off the top of my head..)

it sounded like frank (click) thomas or jim eisen (click) reich

eisenriech is still known as eisenclick to a bunch of my friends..i remember watching a yanks game recently where every time mondesi came to bat we laughed our asses off yelling "click" when they announced him

Does anybody remember the games "Snatcher" and "Rise of the Dragon" for Sega CD? Those are two of the best video games ever.
