You know... I know it's pronounced Wong... but I still pronounce it wang in my head.
Pretty good pitching duel today considering the offenses involved.
yes it was. though so far this year the yanks are either all or none on offense. it was nice to see a somewhat normal score
The Jays have been the same way. They either score 9-10 or struggle to get 1-2. The difference in their records so far is that the Jays have had more consistent pitching... some poor outings, but generally very good.

The AL East (minus TB) is going to be very interesting this year

I completely agree. Most people are still talking about NY and Boston... they seem to be waiting for Toronto and Baltimore to fade away. I think it's already pretty clear that Baltimore isn't going to, and I think Toronto will get stronger as they go on. I'm looking forward to a tight four team race.

It's still way too early to make that assessment
I'm basing it more on their lineup than anything else.
It is WAY too early to say who is going to do what. Its a long season, filled with injuries and trades. People are already writing off the Yankees this year, saying they are too old. They might be, but they are only 2 games behind where they were this time last season, and they ended up winning the AL East. But yes, Baltimore is alot better than they've been in the past.

They have by FAR the best lineup in the East. The only question is their starting rotation.

sorry, but their bullpen is also a question.
Steve Kline, Rick Bauer, Jorge Julio, John Parrish, B.J. Ryan.
What are you questioning again? That's a solid bullpen.

everyone has questions in their bullpen.
but I'd say the Orioles bullpen has less questions than most.

Bush vs. Wang
Who wins?
You know... I never really noticed how funny this post actually is until now. I always thought the name Wang was funny, but somehow I just didn't catch on to the Bush/Wang thing.

kline and his 7+ era?
bauer and his 12+ era?
Wow.
If you're honestly dismissing Steve Kline because of his April ERA, there's no way I can take any of your posts seriously.
