Looking for a program that would run sort of like a DJ set up but with MP3's so that I can fade in and out wiht two MP3's but record with Soundforge...or better yet...a program that has the ability to fade in and out between two mp3's and will allow me to record ALL IN ONE! Anyone know of anything out there like this? I just want to mess around and remix some Hip Hop and Frankie Goes To Hollywood...I'm bored...

I know there are a few winamp plugins that allow for dj-ing and crossfading effects... but I'm not sure about recording them. I think this can be done with any sound editing app that can 'listen' to the soundcard.

And as it's frequently stated, Google is your friend. :)

I could be wrong, but from my experience most of these kinds of programs only use .wav files.
