Okay, I was having an argument with one of the guys at my work about the soundtrack to pulp fiction. He thought that `Girl you`ll be a woman soon` or whatever its called was a Nick Cave song... I convinced him that its an Urge Overkill song.
BUT, he still claims that theres a nick cave song in the movie (something off murder ballads) - I cant remember it being anywhere in there - its not on the soundtrack, and i cant rent it because my video shop only has it on tape and most of the tapes have been overdubbed into Japanese.
Girl you'll be a woman soon was sung by Urge Overkill, but originally sung by Neil Diamond.
I didn`t know that... thanks. Anyway, do you know if nick cave is in pulp fiction.... another one of the guys at work reckons its sometime during the butch part of the story.

I've always wondered what was in the suitcase too (i thought that was what this question would be). I go with the soul thing. If you notice, Mr. Wallace has a band-aid on the back of his neck through the whole movie. The interpretation I've been given is that he sold his soul to the devil, and stole it back, and that it left through the back of his neck. Pretty weird, but it's as good as anything i've heard.

I've seen that before. Although it's interesting speculation, I'm not sure that there is anything from the film that credibly supports that theory.
