I wanted to try my hand at doing some animation. Does anyone know of any programs that I might be able to download??? I was told that 3D Character Animation Studio was a good one, but it's costs.

I've used Jasc Animation Shop before, it's pretty slick. But it costs money too, although I think there's a 30-day trial for it.

oh the 30day trial might work. Do you have a link for it? How much does the regular version cost?

It's $39 (or free with Paint Shop Pro, which itself costs a lot more than $39 heh).

and you say it's pretty easy to use? I am actually going to be using it for school. I'm doing a multimedia project where I am going to try and make an animated music video for "Sleight of Hand". Would this program give me the functionality to do so?

Oh, my bad. That's a program to make animated gifs, I apparently didn't understand your question. I don't know anything about the kind of animation you're looking for, so disregard my comments ;) heh.

This was all a ploy to help you boost your post count..

I actually already have flash but I wasn't sure if it would be the best tool to use. I guess I'll have to further investigate. Thanks though.
