With one week to go, I figured I'd start said thread.

I do not have a good feeling about the election. I'm at the point where I don't even care that much anymore. Perhaps after 4 more years of Bush, the country will be so sick of Republicans that it will keep them out of the presidency for awhile.

I don't know.....I'm becoming very apathetic. I just hope people in states that matter aren't starting to feel the way I do.

I was wondering who would be the lucky one to start this thread.

There's no way of knowing what will happen until Tuesday, just like 2000. Should be exciting.

I am manic-depressive about this election. Some days, I wake up feeling strongly that my candidate is gonna win. Other days, I'm skeptical. I think I pay too much attention, is the problem.

My hopes rise and fall with every news story I see, every internet blog I read, every poll that's released.

I find it is good to be informed, but it is best to not make it the center of my existance.

Is it important? Of course.

Should my life teeter on the outcome? Of course not.

Us Americans are quite lucky that our lives don't teeter on who leads us.

Agreed, I realized how that could be misconstrued about 20 seconds after I posted it.

I'm voting for Kerry but I have a feeling it won't matter because I think Tennessee is going to go Bush anyway. At least I'll do my part. If TN goes Kerry I'll be very surprised.

yeah, that would be quite an upset. Not on the level of New York going to Bush or something ... but an upset nonetheless.

I'm in a different boat. I don't think my vote for Bush makes a lick of difference in Tejas.

I just hope you guys don't make the same mistake we did and let the conservatives win.

Well, no matter what the situation is, it is still great that both of you are voting.

Who knows? If enough people do what you guys are doing, it could prove the pundits and talking heads wrong afterall!

It all makes me a little ill. I feel tense when I think of next Tuesday. The train station and the supermarkets have been full of candidates asking for your support and handling out flyers. I am in NY which is generally Democratic which is good but I am not too sure about Long Island where I live now. A lot of Bush/Cheney bumper stickers ( just fueling my road rage).

Eh, I want to see Kerry win, but at this point it's a toss-up. If he wins, great. If he loses, I'll just have to wait and see what GWB has in store for the next four years. At the end of the day, it's out of my hands(running the country), and I've always prided myself on not worrying too much about things that are out of my control. C'est la vie.

The presidential candidate with the most royal European blood always wins. Its a historical fact that ever since George Washington, it has worked out this way without fail.

In 2000, that candidate was George Walker Bush.

In 2004, that candidate is John Forbes Kerry.

Both men are related to Queen Elizabeth of England and every member of that royal house, but Kerry's family tree also includes James I, Henry I, II and III, Richard the Lionheart and other members of the Aryan-Anglo royal line, including the Queen of Holland, the Queen of Denmark, the King of Norway, the Russian Czars and the Shahs of Iran (which draws its name from 'Aryan', btw).

Simply put, the elite that rule the world via America and Europe (the democracies that never were) have got it in for Kerry this year, just as they had it in for Bush in 2000.

Speaking of Wisconsin, that state has swung back to Kerry.

Iowa is now a tie.


If Kerry loses both of these, he's really going to have a hard time getting to 270.

Yeah, if he loses both Wisconsin and Iowa, he'll need to win both Ohio and Florida. Any combination of 3 will spell a Kerry victory AFAICT.
