Can they please retire this question from the "on the field" reporters list of questions? They ask this in EVERY interview. It's to the point that it makes me cringe when I hear them ask it.

one time a female reporter asked a hockey player "what was going thru your mind?" and he said " I was just singing pearl jam songs all night"

It's such a stupid question, I hope more players start answering with comments like that. Players aren't really thinking much when they are out there playing a game, its all instincts.

My most hated question/answer that reporters do w/ athletes is during the playoffs of any given sport.

Once a team closes out a series (or game) and the opponent for the next series (or game) is yet to be determined, the reporters always ask the players "Do you have any preference of who you'd rather play in the next round?"

It never fails...they always ask the question. It's actually not a bad question, IF the players would ever answer truthfully. Obviously, they'd prefer one team over another in most cases....but like clockwork, they ALWAYS say that they don't care, it doesn't matter, we just worry about ourselves...blah blah blah.

Just ONCE, I would like to hear a guy actually answer that question.

i hate when reporters ask a question like how do you think you are gonna do....blah blah..then when the player says theyre gonna win the game the media turns it around...

"so and so GUARANTEES VICTORY!"
