did anyone check out the fight last night between these guys? it was one of the most lopsided victories i have ever seen. winky's jab dominated the whole fight

I didn't see it but from what i heard Tito was awful. I think he landed a total of 50 punches. Winky is probably the most underrated fighter in the world right now. He's not very exciting though. He reminds me of Pernell Whitaker even though their styles aren't similar. Winky versus Hopkins would be a very technical fight. I doubt i'd pay $50 to see it.

I agree that he 'killed' him as far as beating him soundly, but he didn't hurt him one bit. Neither guy got very many good licks on the other, actually. Winky had his hands up in front of his face the whole time, he looked like one of those boxers you see in really old pictures.

Winky really is a technically sound, boring-as-hell boxer. If he fights like this, I don't how he's ever going to knock out another high-level opponent. He'll win by decision every time. Jabs are effective for defeating somebody but they get really boring after a while.

this is like saying duncan isn't great because he's boring. it makes no sense! If he wins, he wins.
