What do you find most troublesome with the plot / story of the saga?
My biggest problem in with Princess Leia.
Why the hell do they call her Princess Leia?
She is a senator. Her father is a senator who eventually gets elected Viceroy (Governor) of Alderaan. The daughter of a Viceroy is not a Princess. No one knows she is Padme's daughter (Padme is a former Queen anyways, so even if they knew her true bloodline she would not be a Princess).
For some reason this has bothered me the last few days.

The database refers to Bail Organa repeatedly as the "leader" of Alderaan. And Leia's profile says she comes from the Royal family of Alderaan. He must have been king or president or prime minister or something btw III and IV.

-Obi-Wan not changing Luke Skywalker's name and bringing him to Darth Vader's OLD HOUSE to live. That's like playing Hide n' Go Seek by standing in the middle of a living room with a lampshade over your head.
-Darth Vader coming back as a spirit when only Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon knew about it.

The Ep. 4 book says he was elected Viceroy. Don't forget, at the beginning of Ep. 4, the Emporer dissolves the Senate and then the regional Governors (the Emporer's stooges) have direct control of their respective system. So that means Bail Organa loses his power. Shortly after, his planet is destoyed. No planet, no politics, no Princess.

Couldn't Leia's responce be about Bail Organa's wife. Leia could have thought that she was her real mother who died when Leia was still very young.
Yeah, and then there's the explanation where Leia remembers her through the Force. But I'm just taking it at face-value.
Another thing that doesn't match up: Obi-Wan never tried to convince Anakin to forget about everything and run away with him, like the line "Obi-Wan once thought as you" implies in VI. If Lucas fucks with the films again, he ought to get James Earl Jones to voice in "Your mother once thought as you" here, since she's the one who pretty much says everything Luke tries to get him to do.

First off, i have not read any of the books. Only seen the movies.
The midochlorians thing doesn't bother me so much.
It's the cheeziness of some of the dialogue that i found most disappointing. I hate it when the droids in season 1 say Roger, Roger. That is a stupid joke from Airplane that has no business in this film.
Also when C-3PO starts spouting stupide jokes when his head gets chopped off in Attack of the Clones. When R2 is dragging his head "this is such a drag" or when his head is next to his body "i am beside myself".
What the fuck is that lame-ass shit?

I cracked up when I read this, not because they're actually funny lines but because I've watched this film a dozen times and never actually realized the puns.

Sidious had a line about his master being able to manipulate midichlorians to create life. This idea could have been used for awesome if we found out on-screen that Sidious used this method to create Anakin, thus explaining the "virgin birth."

Oh, I hate those 2 lines.
The worst line, by far, is:
Obi Wan: "Anikan, how many times have I told you? Don't fly into power cuplinks!" [with Anikan and Obi Wan convulsing]

I'm staying at the Holiday Inn Select - Kanata, in Ottawa.
I haven't booked my Toronto room yet, I need to do that this week.

Nice. That is right by where we are staying, Comfort Inn. There are a bunch of people talking about meeting up right around there.
We are staying at some old mansion run by Clarion now in Toronto. Ernist Hemingway used to live in it. It's pretty cheap.

They may look advanced but they're junk. None of the ships in the prequals have hyperspace capabilities, they are short range fighters. If they are capable of light-speed they must connect to an extra set of engines ala Jedi Starfighters. X-Wings are a giant technologial advance.
There was a scene that was cut at the beginning of Ep. 3 where Obi Wan thinks a small fighters with hyperspace capabilities is a great idea.

Well, you might expect a rebellion had to scrape up what they could. That might include using older ships, or making some w/o the knowledge/skill of the rebellion.
