I'm going to start watching Season 1 again.
Sheer brillance...although not Lynch's best work

I missed out on this show, which completely sucks. I really like everything Lynch that I've seen and always hear people talk about how great Twin Peaks is. I take it they are available on dvd?

Well I was going to ask if they are worth buying but I guess we just took care of that now didn't we?
So is the entire show available? I don't want to get caught up in it and not get to see the whole thing.

Probably one of the best three television series I've had the pleasure of following from the start.
It was quite the phenomenon and it was exciting to be part of it as a viewer as it transpired. Maybe one of the first real "watercooler" type shows ever?

One of the greatest shows ever made.
Season 1 is the only season out of the three available on DVD. You can get the other two on VHS if you want them.
The first season is by far the best, though. You would not be dissappointed if that was all you watched, i promise.
Do not start watching it without first watching the pilot episode, which is not included in the box set. You will not have a clue what is going on. You can by the pilot sepeately on DVD.

there were only 2 seasons
Yep. You are right. I don't know what i was thinking. Season 1 only has 8 episodes. There are 29 total. I guess I was just thinking that was three seasons. I didn't realize that season 2 had 21 episodes.

I just finished watching this. What an awesome show! Season 2 kind of floundered, but the final episode almost made up for it. It did seem to end strange. Was there supposed to be a third season, or was it just there way of ending it? Leaving more questions than answers

That's great news. I'm sick of watching Season 2 with Dutch subtitles.
I have two versions of the pilot episode. The other one was filmed, I believe, in case the show never got picked up so it's more like a movie. They used some of the scenes in Season 2, I think. I didn't like that one much.
The second half of Season 2 got boring with the Windom Earle story line, but David Duchovney in drag helped make up for it.

I don't think there were any further plans for the series.
