What teams would you like to see play a non-conference series?

For about 10 years I've wanted a Michigan-Tennessee series.
When there was the controversy over Woodson winning the Heisman and the stadium-capacity competition the 2 schools had going...damn I want to see this!

I'd like to see non conference games that involve real top tier matchups.

Big10/ Big 12

Big 12/Pac 10

SEC/Big 12

SEC/ACC

SEC/BIG 10

ACC/Big 12 and so on.

Florida State vs. Ohio State.

I'm a huge FSU fan and my woman is an OSU alumn. It would be an interesting day.

Penn State and Nebraska just finished a home/home series the last 2 years. Its too bad both teams have been at their lowest points during this series. Otherwise it would have gotten alot more attention from the media.

the big 3 florida schools should play Texas/USC/Oklahoma every year in a round robin or something like that.

Florida/ USC. The over under on those games would be like 7 PTS. Fun yo watch if you like offence but not very fun if you are a defensive orientated person!

I'm very happy with the Nebraska/Pacific and Auburn/Citadel matchups, thank you very much. They make for compelling arguments why some teams don't deserve to be playing for national championships.

I think A&M and LSU should play every year at Reliant Stadium.

Dude every time. Load up the front 7 on defense, those Huskers can't pass for shit. Especially with Woodson covering half the field. Nebraska may not have scored on Michigan that year. They had the #1 defense and #1 SOS in the nation.

1994 - PSU vs Nebraska. That would be a hell of a game, although I think the Nittany Lions would have gotten the championship they deserved.

Except in real life, teams tried stacking the line against Tom Osbourne's offenses for decades and couldn't stop them. His option offense was a bit more complex than you may remember, even in the passing game. Frost was by no means a good passer, but the offensive scheme would allow for tight ends and running backs to get so wide open, even Frost could hit them. Plus, Nebraska shut down Peyton Manning in their bowl game that year. Do you think Brian Griese would've lit them up?

Urban Meyer, seems to be somewhat of an Osbourne follower. Only he's got a much much much better QB
