TOM MONAGHAN
Founder of Ave Maria University in Naples, Fla., and the Domino's Pizza chain:

I'm hoping he does something about Catholic education. Catholics just don't understand their faith. They don't understand why the church has the authority to tell them that they have to do this and they can't do that ... This should be a benevolent monarchy, not a democracy. The church in one sense is a military organization, just like the Marine Corps.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I can think for myself, thank you very much

and your pizza isn't that good, Ill take my business to Papa Johns

founder. i dont believe he owns it anymore.

He took most of the money he made from selling it to donate it to the church.

So, did he make the statement above? I don't care if he thinks that. It really doesn't seem to effect non-Catholics. Although, Catholics should probably protest if they have any sense of self-consciousness.

In the 90's I boycotted Dominoes because I heard this this "man of faith" owned a brothel...not a legal one (if there is such a thing) but one for his private use.

So my response to this thread is, "What? Another reason to hate Dominoes' cardboard pizza?"

I Second.

Better ingredients, better pizza. Papa John's.

Actually, I like PJ's and Domino's about equal. Domino's has great thin crust & it's a little cheaper. PJ's has that awesome garlic dipping sauce.

Tough call for me.
