AFP is reporting that he's "lost consciousness," which I guess means he's in a coma. Controversial man---he's been branded a terrorist and won the Nobel Peace Prize. Any opinions on whether or not his passing would help or hinder the Israeli peace process?

Nadav, what is the solution for the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, short of one group simply walking away? Do average Israelis believe that Jews and Arabs can live together? I knew a lady in school who was Jewish, and she had Arab friends. Is this common? Write me a 10,000 word paper and get it to me by Friday.

it's very complicated. there are israeli arabs too. i know a few arab dudes. where do you think i get my hash ?
i dont know about solutions man, i barely read papers or watch tv, im not into these stuff. what i know is that the reality is not what you see on your american tv and it's not what you hear. the palestians fight their war dirty, they fight during peace negotiations too but that's not my point, i mean they fight using the media. they will send off their children and women to walk around first before the man so they could hurt by israeli forces and then they could show the world. even when they send in suicide bombers it's usually kids and women so people would feel sorry for them. they fake and pretend and it works and i hate it, i hate hearing about some big explosion in tel-aviv with 20+ people injurned and some 10+ people dead and then no one says anything here, some arab kid gets shot and all of the internet and news sites show picture of this poor little arab kid and a big israeli tank behind him. that's bullshit. that's a work
i'm not saying israel is pure in anything, but the stuff israel gets blamed for and the stuff the palestians get over looked is fucking annoying.
i dont think there will be any peace anytime soon over here, there's no one to make peace with! as far as i know the government tried everything and they keep on bombing and wanting more or whatever. there will always be the radicals. it's a sucky situation

It is a sucky situation. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I fully understand that what I see on TV isn't the whole story, so it helps to hear from people there.
