Smile is such a lovely song yet seems so underrated.

It's on No Code, which means it rocks. Gotta love that harmonica.

In Asheville, did Jeff and Stone switch instruments on "Smile" like they used to? I just got the Asheville cd and I was wondering..

Smile is about a feeling that there is no word to it in english but there is in portuguese, we call it "saudade"

amen, this is such a wonderful warm little song, feels like a hug.

and it reminds me of the montage on the TB2K dvd too - and i just love that. and when i got no code in the car, i can't help but crank this up and scream out "i miss you already!!!!" - this is how i feel :)

Smile is an encredibly beautiful song. Simple and joyful and sweet. I can't believe it took me awhile to warm up to it.
